Museum showcasing Berber tribal artifacts—jewelry, textiles, and weapons—in Majorelle Garden.
Located within the grounds of the Majorelle Garden, the Berber Museum (Musée Pierre Bergé des Arts Berbères) houses one of the finest collections of North African tribal artifacts. The museum displays over 600 objects from the Rif, Middle Atlas, High Atlas, Anti-Atlas, and Sahara regions—including jewelry, textiles, weapons, pottery, musical instruments, and breathtaking tuareg leatherwork. The collection spans from the 19th century to the mid-20th century, showcasing the craftsmanship and cultural heritage of Morocco's indigenous Amazigh (Berber) people. The museum is housed in the original Majorelle Garden building and was renovated by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated with English, French, and Arabic descriptions. The adjoining building has a cinema room showing ethnographic films [citation:1].
